Superb Floor Restoration!
We’re absolutely delighted with the transformation Kite Flooring and his team performed on our wooden floor — they truly brought it back to life.
From the very first inspection they were unfailingly professional, promptly providing a clear, detailed quote and a realistic timeframe which they met precisely.
We had been considering replacing the floor, but Ed honestly recommended restoring our original boards — a candid, trustworthy piece of advice we greatly appreciated.
Communication was excellent throughout: they patiently explained each step, showed colour samples so we could choose confidently, and kept us updated at every stage.

The crew caused minimal disruption and went above and beyond by helping to move furniture out and back to the house, a generous touch we didn’t expect.
The workmanship is outstanding; our original floor has been restored to the highest standard with a flawless finish.
The different technique used to fill the gaps, compared to previous one, has made the floor feel significantly more solid.

As Architects, we’ve worked with a number of timber floor suppliers but Kite are by far our preferred supplier for several reasons.

They have a great selective range of good quality options, as opposed to offering hundreds of confusing variations. Each of their floor options has individual merit, which really helps to narrow down decision making.

The team at kite are really knowledgable about their floors, and they are really great communicators which helps to make decisions and inform yourselves of options, pros and cons etc.

Their showroom has large scale samples, making it easy to see the options in shade and in daylight, and experience walking on the floors for true experience.

We recommend Kite to a lot of people, and we recently installed one of their engineered floors in our own home refurbishment - very happy with it. Furthermore, the supply timescales were exactly as advised.

They also offer their own in house install team if needed, and can help with bespoke edge trims.

Would definitely recommend considering Kite and popping into their showroom to check out options and chat to Ed and the team!

I have worked with Ed and his team on many projects over the years and have always found them to be helpful and professional. I am a designer based in East London so require a high standard of service and quality products for my clients. KITE go direct to the best factories, so you can get an amazing product for a decent price. They are also able to source floors so if I need something a bit different or special they are my go-to. Their range of reclaimed and hand-scraped flooring is particularly beautiful. To top it all off they are a lovely bunch of people to work with and always go above and beyond to solve any issues which no-doubt come up on projects! I highly recommend them, 5 Stars!

Quality of the product is excellent - Lewis Herringbone (large) looks great throughout the ground floor of our renovation. On a par with the quality of the product is the level of customer service. There was a slight mix up with a delivery - the team at Kite went out of their way to rectify the situation even providing one of their own installers to finish the job our builder had to leave to go to another job - first class all round - thank you Kite!

We had a brilliant experience with Kite when fitting our beautiful new laminate floor. We had an old, damaged floor that needed to be removed and an uneven sub floor that required levelling, but the work was completed within a week and the fitters were fantastic. We’d recently painted our flat and they managed to avoid any damage! Kite’s premium laminate is stunning, it’s totally transformed our home. We would 100% recommend Kite, the communication and attention to detail throughout has been second to none.

We had a great experience with Kite and their fitter, James. The whole process was smooth from selecting the flooring through to booking the installation. Kite were also very accommodating when we needed to change the fitting date due to a delayed completion, which we really appreciated.

James was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He completed the installation to a high standard while taking the time to explain the process and offer helpful advice along the way. We’re very pleased with the final result and would happily recommend both Kite and James.

We had such an amazing experience with Kite Flooring! The whole process — from the showroom visit to measuring and fitting was smooth and completely stress-free, with great communication throughout. We were also pleasantly surprised by how competitive their prices are, especially given the exceptional quality of the products they supply. As we needed the flooring quite urgently, the guys at Kite Flooring unlike most other competitors made it happen. From the initial consultation call to fitting in just 1 month!!!

I visited Kite Flooring in Shoreditch and they showed me a wide range of different floors, colors and finishes. I went with a herringbone for the living rooms and a matched straight board for the adjoining kitchen / breakfast room. Ed was extremely knowledgeable and great to deal with - he knew his stuff and made me feel confident about my choices. I’m delighted with the result - quality flooring that looks really premium.

Excellent customer service and quality product from Kite flooring, we love our new floor and stairs. Both Ed and Patrick were extremely helpful from initial meet and introduction to the wide flooring ranges, through to delivery of our new oak floor. We went for a pre-finished board with a warm finish, which we installed ourselves as the guidance and installation instructions given by Kite were super clear on how to prepare effectively, which made the whole process really smooth. We have had our new floor installed for several months now and admire it every day. Would highly recommend to all looking for excellent quality engineered floor options with great customer service, knowledge and transparency on where the floors come from. Excellent customer service.
I spent almost a year trying to find the right floor and visited at least a dozen flooring companies.. I was looking for a herringbone prime floor. Found Kite flooring on Instagram and loved the look of the floors but was sure they’d be out of my budget. After a few emails we visited their shop in London and Ed spent a considerable amount of time explaining the difference between the ranges, wood treatments and durability. We were shown large sample boards and went for the Maurice floor. The customer service was fantastic, one of the best companies we dealt with during our renovation project.
The floor looks amazing and we’ve had so many compliments. Would highly recommend Kite Flooring.

From the start the advice I received with Kite was helpful. It was easy to decide what I should go for (unlike with other companies I'd tried). The man who fitted the flooring was wonderful. He took a lot of care and did a beautiful job. I am very pleased with my new living room floor and would recommend Kite.

I think I must have visited about 6 floor shops and spent hours online before finally and gratefully finding kite. Wonderful service. Floors look great. Thank you Ed and the team. Beautiful dark oak textured floor in my bedroom and also a large art studio fitted with the Newington range, a lovely light oak which was really reasonable. The samples Ed brought to try were all spot on and met my brief and it was really easy to choose the floors. The scheduling and invoicing was all handled really efficiently by Sacha in the office. As for the fitters - they were incredible! They did two large rooms in a day (one with a quite complicated dressing room). Admittedly they worked nearly solidly from 7am until after 9 o’clock to get the job done. They left the house looking immaculate and I am recommending Kite to all my friends now. Such good quality at such a fair price relative to the other quotes I got.
Thank you so much to all the team at Kite. You clearly care about keeping your customers happy, and take great pride in helping people achieve beautiful floors!

The whole team at KITE has been beyond splendid throughout the entire process, from measurements to purchase, delivery and everything in between. Sasha, Ed, Jasper are absolutely wonderful and always go the extra mile to make sure you get total satisfaction and everything goes well during installation.

The product itself is excellent. It's not the cheapest but, if you look beyond the BS on other website, it's far from being the most expensive too and the quality is there. Just order samples and compare, it's obvious. I have 0 regret going for KITE, on the very contrary. I feel like a valued and cared-for customer, and will not hesitate a second to use them again in the future. Thank you!

A quick note to express our profound gratitude for the service delivered by Ed and everyone else at Kite Flooring. I suspect we weren't the easiest clients to deal with: we changed which product we wanted several times in the lead-up to the final purchase, but they maintained their calm throughout. (Tip: if you can get to the showroom, do so. It makes the decision-making process much easier.) In the end, we opted for the Jasper dark wood floors and we genuinely couldn’t be happier with our choice. The dark wood gives a real warmth to our home, and it feels really special to be able to walk barefoot on real wood. The quality of the workmanship was exceptional as well. Ed and his team worked over-time to make sure that every last detail was taken care of, and checked back in a few weeks after installation to deal with any snagging issues. All in all, we couldn’t recommend Kite Flooring more highly. The floors are beautiful and the level of service outstanding.
